Gallery on the Green hosted a special party and closing for its Holiday Show Saturday night. The idea was to welcome the festive season and help the artists. "We're always hoping for a few more sales in this economy," said board president Judy Cantwell. The party represented the closing of the show but the gallery gears up again in January. A special "Who Am I" members show runs Jan. 7 to Feb. 6. It will also include the paintings and drawings of Collinsville's Jim Koplar upstairs and watercolors of Grace Epstein in the Spotlight Gallery. In addition Walter and Noel Barker Sculpture Garden pieces will be on display through April. Gallery Hours are Friday through Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
