Garage Destroyed in Raging Fire in Canton
The fire on Old Canton Road was reported shortly after 10 p.m.
A late-night fire destroyed a garage at a home on Old Canton Road, the Canton Compass reported.
The blaze, which started just after 10 p.m., caused damage to the house at 11 Old Canton Road and a neighboring home, fire chief Richard Hutchings told the Compass.
Hutchings told the Compass the fire was controlled after about a half-hour, with assistance from neighboring firefighters from Avon and Simsbury.
