Canton, Conn. (August 18, 2014) – The Collinsville Farmers Market continues its 9th season in full gear, every Sunday from 10am-1pm and until October 19th. Located in the heart of historic Downtown Collinsville, the market features fresh produce from local farms as well as unique and delicious locally produced specialty items including artisan breads, jams, cheese, soaps, local wool, honey, maple syrup and much more.

While summer brings lots of much welcomed fresh local fruits and vegetables, it is late summer and early fall when the bounty is truly at its best. From pears, apples and a huge variety of squash to carrots, sweet potatoes, cool weather berries and so much more, the next few months are the best for enjoying all our local farms have to offer.

Among the full-time vendors at the Collinsville Farmers Market, shoppers will find Blue Moon Farm, Butterfield Farm, Hard Rain Farm, Hastings Farm, Gresczyk Farm, Maple View Farm, Hillhome Products, Giv Coffee, Wild Carrot Farm, Lamothe’s Sugar House and Collinsville Baking Company. Hayward Farm is back for the second half of the season with their peaches and apples and Bittersweet Ridge will offer their woolen products, potted herbs, and handcrafted goat milk soaps during the autumn weeks.
