The Canton PD is hosting holiday gift and gift card collection events Saturday, Dec. 3, at two locations in town.

CANTON, CT — Folks heading to Canton shopping destinations Saturday, Dec. 3, might want to keep local police and emergency volunteers in mind while Christmas shopping.

The Canton Police Department and Canton's Community Emergency Response Team is hosting a collection drive for unwrapped gifts and gift cards for Canton neighbors in need.

The event will take place Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ocean State Job Lot, 133 River Road, and at the Shoppes at Farmington Valley, 110 Albany Turnpike

Donations can also be dropped off at the Community Center/Social Service office, 40 Dyer Ave., through Monday, Dec. 5.
