Talk About a Sweet Deal For Canton Library Fundraiser

CANTON, CT — Talk about the sweetest "win-win" possible.
The Friends of the Canton Public Library, a volunteer organization that supports and funds library activities beyond the budget, is selling homemade platters of holiday cookies this month to raise funds for the organization.

Folks can order them at the circulation desk or on the Friends of the Canton Library website.
"Not only will you enjoy some great cookies, but you will also be helping the Friends of Canton Public Library continue their work to support the library," wrote the library.

Meanwhile, the Friends group is also looking for volunteer bakers to contribute to the cookie cause.
Cookies can be dropped off at the Canton Community Center- Room C, 40 Dyer Center, on Thursday, Dec. 15, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cookies cannot be accepted after this date.
If bakers cannot make it to the community center, they can arrange a home pick up by emailing the Friends at friendsofcantonlibrary@gmail.com before Dec. 15.
