Join CAGV for its second annual Hartford Area Luncheon

Connecticut Against Gun Violence is holding its second annual Hartford Area Luncheon on September 10.

The two topics to be discussed could not be more timely and our guest speakers better equipped to bring us up to date.

Mike Lawlor, Under Secretary for Criminal Justice Policy and Planning, will discuss Project Longevity, a tremendously successful program for reducing gun violence in our largest cities. Mike can tell us what is working and how we will continue in our efforts for even more improvements.

Senate President Martin Looney’s remarks will update us on the issue of the Domestic Violence Restraining Order legislation that was our key legislative objective in the 2015 session. The legislation did not quite make it to a final vote but we are committed to continue to work for this important measure that will protect victims of domestic violence.
