The incident happened late on Saturday night, prompting an emergency response from local responders.

CANTON, CT — Local responders late Saturday night rushed to the Farmington River to pull out a large pickup truck and its occupants after it plowed into the water.
According to the Canton Fire and EMS Department, the late-night incident happened on Torrington Avenue.
There, responders were dispatched to a report of a car into the river with people still in the vehicle.

No injuries were reported, but crews spent two hours that night removing the vehicle from the water, according to local fire officials.
Local firefighters posted images Sunday showing the pickup truck half submerged in the river, then being fished out by a crane.
