Learn To Handle Wild Animals In Distress At Canton Library Event

The Canton Public Library Wednesday is hosting the Roaring Brook Nature Center for a program on wildlife rehabilitation.

CANTON, CT — The Canton Public Library is hosting a very unique program on Wednesday, March 6, that will help residents should they stumble across an animal from the wild.

The Roaring Brook Nature Center in Canton will be at the library at 6:30 p.m. that evening to discuss the do's and don'ts of wildlife rehabilitation.

Representatives of the center will share stories about animals they've rehabilitated and they will help residents prepare for if they come into contact with an animal from the wild that needs help.
