Local Business Featured at Canton ShopRite Saturday

As winter’s cold weather sets in, Connecticut-based hot cocoa company Bare Life will be partnering with Whole Foods throughout New England and Shoprite in Canton, CT to host a series of in-store educational demonstrations throughout the month of January in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

The award-winning Bare Life is made with five naturally simple ingredients and produced by an organic and kosher certified Connecticut-based, woman-owned small business. Bare Life has scheduled four in-store product demos at Whole Foods in New England. The first three demos will take place in Whole Foods locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and an in-store demo in Connecticut.

Bare Life is also scheduled to host an in-store demo at ShopRite in Canton this month. Customers can join Bare Life on January 15th, from 10 am to 2 pm for sampling demo of Bare Life’s signature coconut hot cocoa.

Upcoming Demos at Whole Foods

Bare Life will be in Connecticut at the Whole Foods locations in Blue Back Square in West Hartford on February 5 from 10am -2pm, as well as the Whole Foods in Glastonbury on February 26 from 10am-2pm. Earlier this month, Bare Life was at Whole Foods in Lynnfield, MA on January 8, Whole Foods in Cranston, RI on January 10, and Whole Foods in Andover, MA on January 12.

Customers visiting the in-store demos at Whole Foods will have the opportunity to learn more about the plant-based hot cocoa, discover tasty new recipes using Bare Life’s hot chocolate, discuss the delicious hot cocoa with owner Ali Lazowski, and can purchase Bare Life’s hot cocoa single serving packets, in store and at Bare Life’s table, as either a 10-pack or individually as a single serving packet.

Bare Life Beginnings

Bare Life was founded just a few years ago by Lazowski after being diagnosed with IBS, Hashimoto’s disease, Thyroid cancer, and Lyme disease during her junior year of college. Her chronic conditions inspired a change in her diet. Her frustration regarding the lack of foods available – not only for her, but for the millions of people who live with allergen sensitivities – led her to take matters into her own hands. She created the original hot cocoa recipe in her kitchen, and subsequently launched Bare Life.
