Month-Long Valentine's Day Flower Sale To Help Canton Food Bank

The event takes place at the Unionville Stop & Shop supermarket in nearby Farmington.

CANTON/FARMINGTON, CT — A special, month-long fundraising event will help folks get out of the Valentine's Day doghouse with their significant other ... and help the needy as well.

The Canton Food Bank is hosting a special, month-long fundraising campaign in February in which for every certain bouquet of flowers sold at a nearby Stop & Shop supermarket, $1 goes to the food bank.

The program takes place at the Unionville Stop & Shop store at 1799 Farmington Ave., Unionville, which is a village in nearby Farmington.

The bouquets that are part of the offer are $10.99 and called "Bloomin' 4 Good" bouquets.
