Nerdwallet Names Canton School District on its "Best Bang for Your Buck" List

Nerdwallet has named the Canton School District on its list of “Best School Districts for Your Buck in Connecticut” list.

The publication compared factors such as standardized test scores and high school graduation rates against median home value. Canton ranked fourth on the list.

The article noted that many of the best school systems in the state are found in Fairfield county, but that they are too expensive for many families.

Nerdwallet highlighted that the Canton district had the seventh highest SAT average in the state and that the high school graduation rate and average CAPT score are in the top 20 for the state.
