New Fast-Casual Restaurant To Open Soon At Prominent Canton Shopping Destination
The growing national chain will open its sixth Connecticut operation in the Farmington Valley section of the state.

CANTON, CT — Officials at The Shops at Farmington Valley confirmed Monday that a new fast-casual restaurant is set to join the retail center’s lineup later this year.
Irene O’Connor, spokesperson for the shopping center, said CAVA will open a new location at the Canton property.
An exact opening date was not announced, and O'Connor said additional details about CAVA will be released soon.

CAVA, founded in 2006 and based in Washington, D.C., is a rapidly expanding Mediterranean-style chain known for customizable bowls and pitas assembled along a service line.
The company operates more than 400 locations nationwide and has existing Connecticut restaurants in Shelton, Greenwich, Newington, Danbury, and Westport.

The brand emphasizes fresh, health-focused ingredients, offering a range of greens, grains, dips such as hummus and tzatziki, roasted vegetables, and proteins including falafel and harissa honey chicken.
The addition marks continued growth for the open-air shopping center in Canton, which features a mix of retail, dining, and specialty businesses along Route 44.
