The trail will be closed between Dyer Avenue and River Road from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, <a href="https://www.townofcantonct.gov/m/newsflash/Home/Detail/27" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">according to the Town of Canton.</a> The closure is necessary to allow for spraying of invasive knotweed along the trail. Residents should avoid the affected section during the scheduled work period. Anyone with questions about the closure or treatment can contact the Canton Department of Public Works at 860-693-7863.
