September 2013 begins my fourth year as River City Art and my seventh year providing artistic education to the children (and adults) in the Collinsville area and the Farmington Valley. I am proud to say that River City Art is not a cookie cutter art program. I have a home studio in the heart of Collinsville, providing Visual Art lessons. From painting on canvas, plaster cloth sculpting, jewelry design, zentangles with watercolor, I could keep going... the choice is yours. How it comes out is up to you, only you know when it's done. I am here to guide my students. Offering tips and opinions along the way, but how you use those tidbits is up to you, the artist and creator of the work and idea. I will share with you art works and styles from past and present artists, hoping to inspire you along the way. I always encourage my students to try a new or different style or technique. It is my job to encourage, inspire and motivate you and your imagination to do the best and most creative piece you set your mind on.
