Reader Endorses Greenberg for 5th District, Calls Esty's Pro-Choice Stance 'Orwellian'
In a Letter to the Editor, a reader says Elizabeth Esty does not care about senior citizens or unborn babies.

To the Editor:
It is a part of the historical record that Elisabeth Esty once told Senior Citizens, of her hometown of Cheshire, that if they didn’t like paying higher taxes they should go and live somewhere else. As bad as this comment was, at least she offered them the choice to go on living. They also could and did protest her insensitivity.
She does not do that with unborn children who cannot protest. She in effect tells these innocents they have no right to life. This is done under the mantle of what is clinically and chillingly called ‘”reproductive freedom.” Because she, and many other politicians, including Governor Malloy and Senator Blumenthal, subscribe to this Orwellian motto, over a million children each year never get to see the light of day.

Mark Greenberg is a caring politician not a callous one. He respects both the old and the young. You won’t find him telling senior citizens that if you don’t like it here go and live somewhere else. Mark Greenberg is a well-rounded and capable individual and will make an excellent Representative in Congress. He will have my vote on Election Day.
