Canton resident Carrie Brostek, a local yoga practitioner and teacher, has been named a finalist in a national Yoga Journal/Athleta talent search.
Brostek was one of nearly 1,500 people who entered the contest with a photo and brief statement on reasons for practicing.
The finalists receive a $250 gift card for Athleta apparel and one will be flown to San Francisco for a Yoga Journal photo and video shoot.
