Resident: Re-elect Steve Roberto as Canton Selectman

By Brian First

To the Editor:

I am proud to be one of many citizens enthusiastically seeking to re-elect Steve Roberto as our Canton Selectman this Nov. 8. Steve enjoys such a broad cross-section of support in our community for one simple reason – he has earned it the hard way

Steve has long understood and demonstrated that actions speak louder than words when it comes to making Canton a special place to live, work, and raise a family. One does not need to look very hard to identify his many contributions and appreciate his deep commitment to doing what is best for all of our residents.

For example, as a current Selectman, Steve has attended 64 out of 66 regular, special, and tri-board meetings. In order to stay well informed, he takes the initiative to also attend many other town committee meetings including Zoning, Planning, Economic Development, Youth Services, Design Review, and Historical District Commission.

When Steve’s not working for our town, he’s working in our town as a successful local business owner and devoting additional time as an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and Sam Collins Day Committee.  His business also sponsors an annual fundraiser raising thousands of dollars for Gifts for Canton.

Through it all, Steve keeps his family front and center and attends his children’s school activities.  The best words to describe Steve are hard-working, dependable, honest, and absolutely committed to Canton. His vision of leadership through public service deserves our respect and our vote. Please join me in re-electing Steve Roberto as Canton Selectman on Nov. 8.
