Residents Approve Canton Budget
The proposed $36.8 million budget was easily approved at the annual town meeting.
On Monday, the residents of Canton approved the proposed $36.8 million budget, according to the Hartford Courant.
The budget, which will result in an increase in spending and increase in taxes, was approved easily by a margin of 153-7.
Amongst other things, there is an appropriation in this budget that will allow Cherry Brook Primary School to begin full-day kindergarten.
