Road Closure Announced In Canton

CANTON, CT — Officials are advising motorists of a road closure that will be in effect Thursday in Canton. Secret Lake Road, from Albany Turnpike to Elizabeth Road, will be closed for a tree removal from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, May 28.

“A detour will be set up via Old Albany Turnpike and Forest Lane,” officials wrote in a news release. “Please use caution in this area. Emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass.”
