Sarah Barrios plays live at Canton McDonald's

The young acoustic pop singer/songwriter Sarah Barrios is a quiet storm that's taking over the local music scene. The Connecticut native wrote her first song at the young age of thirteen, but it was not until early January 2013 that she decided she wanted to further her involvement in music. In April of that year, Barrios auditioned for FOX’s hit television series, “The X- Factor,” where she made the first two rounds of auditions and on the first day, was in the top 200 out of 11,000 contestants. This year, Barrios started working to create her first EP to be released in June. Recently, Barrios won The New England Music Award’s “Best New Act of the Year” and continues to watch her career take off.
