SBM Charitable Foundation Announces 2016 Scholarship Recipients

SBM Charitable Foundation announced the 2016 Canton scholarship recipient.

The SBM Charitable Foundation (“SBMCF”) awarded one hundred thirty seven (137) college scholarships totaling $227,000 at its Annual Scholarship Reception held June 14, 2016. Forty seven (47) students are new award recipients, while ninety (90) represent scholarship renewals, with eight (8) of the students attending Graduate schools. Listed below are the names of the 2016 Canton scholarship recipients:

The SBM Scholarship Program began in 1996 and is available to students who will be attending accredited colleges and universities in Connecticut, and who also live in Hartford, Tolland, or Windham county. SBMCF Scholarships are renewable each year of a student's college career as long as they continue to meet the initial eligibility requirements. Between the years of 2004 and 2016, the SBMCF has funded $2,344,100 in awards to 1222 scholars.
