Tree Service Worker Who Died in Canton Identified

The man lived in Manchester and worked for Wayne's Tree Removal in Windsor Locks.

Gregory C. Warrick, 55, has been identified as the Wayne’s Tree Removal employee who died in the accident, according to the Canton Compass.

The Manchester man died after falling from a tree on Thursday.

An employee of Wayne’s Tree Removal out of Windsor Locks died after falling from a tree on Wright Road in Canton Thursday afternoon, NBC Connecticut reports.

The LifeStar helicopter landed at Canton Middle School but the employee was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are not releasing the man’s name until his family is notified.

A worker has died in Canton and OSHA is now investigating, according to FoxCT.

A serious workplace accident has been reported on Wright Road, according to the Hartford Courant.

LifeStar is en route and emergency personnel are on the scene.
