Several Reports Of 'Peeping Tom' In Canton

Police are asking for the public's help in catching a voyeur.

CANTON, CT —Police are asking for the public's help after a "peeping Tom" was spotted in the Collinsville area near the Burlington town line.

"This activity appears to be occurring during the overnight/early morning hours," police wrote in a Facebook post. "Please contact the Canton Police immediately if you see a subject engaged in this type of behavior. Several residents have already posted this information on Facebook, but the Canton Police Department needs this information as it is happening or as soon as possible, as opposed to just posting it on Facebook."

Police also encourage anyone in the area who may have footage from a home security camera system of suspicious activity to notify them.

"We are providing special attention to the area, but we need your assistance as well if you see anything," police wrote.
