Special Holiday Dinner For Area Folks In Need Slated In Canton
The registration deadline for Canton, Avon and Simsbury residents, among other towns, is Monday, Dec. 18.

CANTON/AVON/SIMSBURY, CT — The deadline is Monday to register for a special community dinner hosted by are community services organization and a prominent eatery in a nearby town.
"Dish 'n Dat," located at 144 Albany Turnpike in Canton, is hosting its annual "Christmas Dinner at Dish 'n Dat" on Monday, Dec. 25, Christmas Day, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The regional dinner is for folks from area towns, with Canton, Avon and Simsbury social services departments informing folks in their communities of the needs to sign up.

The popular, diner-style restaurant is partnering with the local community on Christmas Day to feed and gift 400 people in need in the area.
DISH ‘n Dat will be serving a full, hot, holiday meal for each person along with toys for the kids, gift cards and non-perishable food items.

The elderly, veterans, and families or individuals in need are welcome.
