State Senator Collecting Food In Canton, Hosting Legislative Forum

CANTON, CT — State Sen. Lisa Seminara, R-Avon, will be at the local library Monday to discuss the recently completed legislative session.
She will be at the Canton Public Library, 40 Dyer Ave., from 6 to 7:30 p.m. to discuss recently developments in the legislature.
The incumbent Republican's 8th Senate District serves Norfolk, Hartland, Canton, Simsbury, New Hartford, Avon, Barkhamsted, Colebrook, and parts of Granby, Harwinton, and Torrington.

Seminara also asks that event attendees bring non-perishable food to the program for the local food bank.
Seminara "will recap the recently concluded legislative session and legislation she supported to improve the quality of life for seniors, the disabled, and children," according to an announcement.
