Street Sweeping Begins This Week In Canton
Motorists are urged to exercise caution throughout town as winter debris is removed from local roadways.
CANTON, CT — The Canton Department of Public Works will begin sweeping town roads the week of May 4, with work expected to continue for several weeks, officials said Monday.
The schedule is weather-dependent, and crews will be active on local streets throughout the cleanup period.
Officials are asking residents and drivers to proceed cautiously when encountering sweeping equipment.

“Please drive slowly and proceed with caution when you see the DPW crew out sweeping,” the department said in a notice.
