The annual Pool Party and Dunk tank celebration: An End-of-Summer Reading reward for Elementary school aged readers who have earned their summer reading bracelet. The pool will be closed to everyone else but those who reached their reading log goals this summer and received their bracelets from the Library. Summer reading bracelet holders entering Grades 1-7 may attend with parent or guardian (sorry, younger children are not allowed for safety reasons). Water-ice treats to snack on, music, and a chance to dunk library staff and teachers complete this free celebration. Sponsored by Friends of the Library, with the help of pool staff from Canton Parks and Recreation. Canton Public Library is at 40 Dyer Avenue, Canton.
