Tastes of the Valley Results Will Help Those in Need

Fundraising results are in for the Rotary Club of Avon-Canton’s 2015 Tastes of the Valley.

“The event was a huge success,” Chair Chuck Joseph said of the March 21 event held at Tower Ridge Country Club.

“I’d like to thank all of the restaurants, donors and sponsors that participated,” he said. “With their support and great attendance we were able to raise over $14,000 to support organizations in our community as well as worldwide who need our help. We topped last year’s results.”

Joseph will co-chair next year’s event, set for Saturday, March 19, along with Steve Roberto, who will be the sole chair in 2017.

“I feel great that my fellow Rotarians have given me this challenge and look forward to it,” Roberto said.
