Three Newcomers Join Ranks Of Canton's Bravest

Canton Fire & EMS Services Sunday announced that three new volunteers recently completed necessary training to fight fires.

CANTON, CT — In an age where small-town fire departments often struggle to find volunteers to help, Canton Fire & EMS Services Sunday announced three new faces for its ranks.

Fire officials said the department celebrated three members who graduated from the "Fire 1" program at the Litchfield County Regional Fire School.

Those graduating were firefighters Nicholas Graziano, Nicholas Kwas, and Kyle Plante.

"Thank you for your commitment to the Department, enduring over 200 hours of training and your service to the Canton community," wrote the Canton Fire Department.
