Two Hospitalized After Canton Car Crash

Editor’s note: We published this story earlier in the week, but here it is again in case you missed it.

Life Star helicopter was called to the scene of a two-car accident in Canton Wednesday night which resulted in serious injuries, the Canton Compass reported.

Police and emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Routes 179 and 202 around 9 p.m. A woman operating one of the vehicles was trapped inside the car, and had to be extricated by Canton firefighters, the Compass said.

The woman was airlifted from the scene by Life Star helicopter with serious injuries, and an ambulance transported another injured person to a medical center, police told the Compass.
