Volunteer Drivers Sought To Take Canton Seniors To Appointments
The town's senior and social services department is looking for help taking local senior citizens without transportation to doctor visits.
CANTON, CT — The Canton Senior & Social Services Department is looking to help local senior citizens without reliable transportation get to their doctors' appointments.
According to the town this week, the department is seeking insured, responsible drivers to "help our seniors without transportation."
Requirements to help are reliability, a clean vehicle, valid drivers license, insurance and an approved background check.
