Well-Known Canton Couple Found Dead Tuesday
Police are investigating possible suicides.

CANTON, CT — Police are investigating what happened to two residents known as community activists who were found dead Tuesday.
Police told the Canton Compass that at at 7:30 a.m. a 9-1-1 call was placed and officers found Louis A. Friedman, 81, and Judith C. Friedman, 80, deceased.
Canton Police Chief Christopher Arciero told the Hartford Courant on Tuesday that they are investigating possible suicides.

The couple was known for advocating environmental issues.
Fox61 said Lou Friedman also founded the Westledge School in Simsbury, and Judith Friedman headed the Peaoples’ Action for Clean Energy, and wrote children’s books and ran a summer camp.
