What Will Our Children Lose is Pleased With 2014 Election Results

The What Will Our Children Lose Coalition sees a bright future with Governor Dannel Malloy

ELECTION RESULTS-GREAT NEWS FOR THE WHAT WILL OUR CHILDREN LOSE COALITION

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (November 6, 2014)- Now that the official results are in and Governor Dannel P. Malloy is the winner of the Governor’s race in Connecticut, the What Will Our Children Lose Coalition (WWOCL) has reason to be pleased. “Governor Malloy has been a huge supporter of public education in our state and we are looking forward to continuing to work closely with him and his administration to continue the momentum, “said Patrice McCarthy, Deputy Director, General Counsel for the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education, (CABE). From Common Core, teacher evaluations, school funding commitments, and state mandates, the WWOCL Coalition has been working diligently for the past several years to make sure that public education in Connecticut remains a priority. “We know that Governor Malloy understands our issues and our goals moving forward, and as a coalition we value that and want to congratulate the governor on his victory,” said Joe Cirasuolo, Executive Director of CT Association of Public School Superintendents (CAPSS).
