Why Do We Love Crime Stories? Canton Library To Investigate
The Canton Public Library Tuesday night is hosting a unique program called 'Murder and Mayhem' about CT's true crime history.
CANTON, CT — A unique program will take place Tuesday night at the Canton Public Library, with the history of "true crime" in Connecticut as the topic.
The library, located at 40 Dyer Ave., Canton, is hosting "Murder and Mayhem: True Crime in Connecticut" at 7 p.m.
While free, registration for the program is required and library officials said there are still slots available.

It will be presented by representatives of the Hartford-based Connecticut Museum of Culture and History.
"The museum is full of artifacts that tell stories of crime and punishment in Connecticut throughout its history -- come learn about some of these stories from our past," wrote the library in an announcement.

This is the first program in the library's Crime Spree series.
