Woman Involved in Canton Crash Dies
She was a passenger in a car that crashed into a restaurant Monday afternoon.

CANTON, CT — An 86-year-old woman who was a passenger in a car that crashed into a Collinsville restaurant Monday afternoon has succumbed to her injuries.
Margaret Stoppani, 86, died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash, which occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. at the Crown and Hammer restaurant, police said.
Michael Stoppani, 51, the driver of the car, sustained minor injuries, police said.

Both had to be extricated from the car by firefighters from Canton and Burlington, according to police.
