Write This Spring!

Join a brand new East Hill Writers’ Workshop led by two local authors: Anne Batterson, author of The Black Swan: Memory, Midlife and Migration (Scribner, 2001), and Chivas Sandage, author of Hidden Drive (Antrim, 2012).

Jumpstart your writing with this prose (fiction and nonfiction) workshop. Re-engage with your creative process, gain confidence in connecting with other writers, and immerse yourself in a pleasurable writing practice.

Each session will begin with a presentation and discussion of one aspect of the writing process. Then, three participants will present work-in-progress for group feedback. In addition, participants will receive written commentary on their submitted work from both leaders. This is the workshop that’s more than a workshop!

We will meet on six Monday nights, 7-9 p.m., April 20-May 25, in Collinsville, CT. Space is limited to 8 people. Cost is $400 for the series of 6 sessions (price based on 2 leaders).
