Local and state leaders say the project will expand outdoor recreation, improve parking access on South Bear Hill Road, and enhance a key natural area for residents and visitors.

See the full list of winners (ctpost.com) — A Chaplin resident is among Connecticut’s biggest lottery winners from September, claiming $100,000 on a Cash 5 ticket bought at Foodland in Willimantic. The list also includes players from several other towns, with the top prize of $1 million going to a Jewett City resident who played in Plainville.
