1 Killed In Crash In Cheshire

One person was killed in a crash late Tuesday night in Cheshire, according to police.

CHESHIRE, CT — One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash late Tuesday night in Cheshire, according to police.

The crash happened around 11:10 p.m. in the area of 1591 Highland Ave. (Route 10) and involved a sedan and a pickup truck, according to police.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Others involved in the crash were taken to local hospitals for their injuries, according to Lt. Michael Durkee.

Police aren’t identifying the victim until the family is notified.

The Naugatuck Valley Collision Investigation Team was called in to investigate the crash, according to Durkee.
