2 Hospitalized In Multi-Vehicle Crash In Cheshire
The crash, which involved tractor-trailer trucks and cars, closed a portion of Route 10 in Cheshire.

CHESHIRE, CT — A multi-vehicle crash, involving tractor-trailer trucks and cars, has closed a portion of Route 10 (Highland Avenue) at the intersection with I-691 in Cheshire. The accident occurred around 5 a.m. near Exit 3 off I-691, according to Lt. Jeffrey Sutherland.
Two people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
Route 10 remains closed between I-691 and Schoolhouse Road, according to the state DOT.

UPDATE: In a 10:40 a.m. update, police said Highland Avenue and East and West Johnson Avenue are now open to traffic.
