2nd Worker Exhibits COVID-19 Symptoms At Cheshire High School

CHESHIRE, CT — Cheshire High School will remain on a remote learning schedule for the rest of this week after a second food service employee reported symptoms associated with COVID-19, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The school dismissed early on Monday "out of an abundance of caution" after officials learned that a member of the food services team was experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

The Record-Journal reports that worker tested negative for the virus.

Officials will decide later this week if in-person classes will resume next week.
