While growth was more gradual for much of the decade, prices began to accelerate around 2020, when housing demand surged during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Market activity remains somewhat limited, with about 32 homes listed for sale at the end of March and 14 new listings added during the month.
The median list price in Cheshire was about $532,283 as of late March, reflecting the town’s position on the higher end of the regional housing market.
Even as the pace of increases has shifted more recently, overall values remain significantly higher than they were just a few years ago.
