• Cheshire Student Released From ICE Custody On Bond: Officials (patch.com) — Cheshire residents are learning that a 19-year-old Cheshire High School student, known publicly as Rihan, is being released from ICE custody on bond after his April 6 detention outside his home. Connecticut leaders, including Sen. Richard Blumenthal and Gov. Ned Lamont, praised the decision, stressing that Rihan’s family entered the country legally on a humanitarian visa and highlighting strong community support in Cheshire as he prepares for graduation.
