Biotech Firm Among 25 New Businesses Registered In Cheshire In July

CHESHIRE, CT — Twenty-five new businesses registered with the state in Cheshire in July, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. The most unusual entry was Orolla Sciences LLC, which registered under the biotechnology research and development category at 332 Academy Road on July 6.

Food and retail saw a mix of new entries, including Little Bandit LLC and Peace Sushi LLC as full-service and limited-service restaurants, and Macey Bakes LLC as a retail bakery. Two related real estate filings, S2V LLC and S2V Properties LLC, registered at the same Soderman Way address on July 28, while Copper Hill Machine LLC and Sloga Technologies LLC brought a machine shop and a software publisher to town.

State registration marks when a business files paperwork with the Secretary of the State, not necessarily when it opens to customers, so some of these ventures may not yet be operating at the addresses listed.
