• Old Meriden-Wallingford Hospital to be torn down for new elementary school (wfsb.com) — A long-vacant former hospital in nearby Meriden will be demolished to build a modern Casimir Pulaski Elementary School, with major state funding reducing local taxpayer costs. Cheshire residents may be interested because their state representative, Jack Fazzino, helped secure reimbursement, and the new school will add specialized programs and updated facilities for hundreds of area students.
