CHESHIRE, CT — Cheshire logged 24 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Residential landlords led the way with six filings, followed by software and IT firms and quick-service restaurants and cafes.
Among the new arrivals were Watermelon Sugar, a gift shop, big Drip energy, a quick-service restaurant and Jora Immunology, a research business. All but one organized as a limited liability company; the exception was one other entity.
State registration doesn't guarantee a business is open to customers yet; the filing can precede or follow a launch by months. The full list, with addresses and business categories, is below.
