The foundation’s primary mission is to engage in strategic grant making that supports and empowers women and girls throughout the greater Hartford region, with specific focus during the next two years on education, financial literacy and job training. It is also dedicated to acting as a catalyst for conversations and initiatives that help women and girls learn more about the power of philanthropy to effect change in their own lives, as well as the lives of their families, communities and the world in which they live.
Pelorus Advisors will work with the Aurora Women & Girls Foundation to prepare and execute their financial and operational plans during 2012.

“My immediate attraction to this organization was that they have been in existence for ten years and operating solely on the generous and tireless ambitions of volunteers. It is exciting for me to get in on the ground floor to help build and grow this worthwhile organization. There is nothing more important than helping women and girls who can't always be expected to do it alone", stated Morgan.
Pelorus Advisors and Michelle Morgan have offices in Cheshire and West Hartford.
