Bagelicious in Cheshire Under New Ownership
The popular South Main Street eatery was recently sold.

Cheshire, CT — After 18 years of operating the popular family-owned Bagelicious on South Main Street, Andrew Moskowitz has decided it’s time to go in another direction, according to the New Haven Register.
Luther Turmelle of the Register reports Bagelicious, located at 945 South Main Street, has been sold.
North Haven’s John Massella Jr. took control of Bagelicious at the end of last week, according to Turmelle.

Fans of Bagelicious thanked Moskowitz for his contributions to Cheshire on an unofficial Facebook page.
Gloria Onorato wrote about her first experience at Bagelicious soon after moving to Cheshire and apologized for taking too long to place her order. She wrote that Moskowitz smiled at her and gave her six free bagels.

It was the first of several memorable moments for Onorato.
“Andrew, you are a gem sent from Heaven!,” Onorato wrote on the page. “Thank you so much for what you have done for me, your other customers and the town of Cheshire, CT. Much Happiness in whatever the future holds for you Andrew. You will be greatly missed.”
