The big win came on a scratch ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
CHESHIRE, CT — A Cheshire resident recently won $10,000 on a scratch ticket that was sold in town, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
The resident won $10,000 on a 10X Cash 16th Edition scratch ticket that was sold at Big Y’s Everybody’s Market at 1021 South Main Street in Cheshire, according to Lottery officials.
The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
