CHESHIRE, CT — The Macy’s fulfillment center in Cheshire was evacuated Sunday morning after a bomb threat was found written in marker on two toilet stalls, according to police. At about 11 a.m. on Nov. 5, the Cheshire Police Department, along with the Cheshire Fire Department and members of the Connecticut State Police Emergency Services Unit, responded to Macy’s Logistics, located at 475 Knotter Drive, for a reported bomb threat, according to Lt. Jeffrey Sutherland.
The threat was found drawn in marker on two toilet stalls in the locker room/bathroom area of the building.
“Macy’s employees were evacuated from the building and the ensuing building search by CSP bomb technicians and K-9s showed nothing out of the ordinary,” Sutherland said.
