Schedule Announced For Bulky Waste Collection In Cheshire

CHESHIRE, CT — The town will hold a Bulky Waste Curbside Collection that will run from Sept. 23 through Oct. 28. In an update Tuesday, officials announced the following collection schedule:

Sept. 23 to Sept. 27 – households with Monday trash collection

Sept. 30 to Oct. 4 – households with Tuesday trash collection

Oct. 7 to Oct. 11 – households with Wednesday trash collection

Oct. 14 to Oct. 18 – households with Thursday trash collection

Oct. 21 to Oct. 25 – households with Friday trash collection

Week of Oct. 28 – make-up week

Items should be place curbside before the Monday morning of the assigned collection week. Officials are asking residents to keep items off the roadway and at least 3 feet from trash and recycling collection bins.

The list of accepted and not accepted items is coming soon, officials said on Tuesday.
